The BC/Yukon Virtual Science Fair brings together young scientists from regions across British Columbia and Yukon. Students submit projects in three categories — Experiment, Innovation, and Study — spanning life sciences, engineering, health, earth & environmental sciences, and more.
Projects are reviewed by mentors with expertise in science, technology, engineering, digital arts, and mathematics. Students receive feedback through project interviews and written evaluations, celebrating inquiry and discovery in a virtual format.
Calling STEAM professionals and teachers: become a mentor and support the next generation of innovators.
Science fair project mentorship is a process of communication between an advisor and a student. Mentors may make suggestions and help point students in useful directions, but cannot come up with the project idea or do the project themselves.
